About me

Ben Hicks is an ex-pat from the United States. He moved to Australia after relocating to Hong Kong for a leading global corporation. He was hand picked to start up one of the first overseas divisions for this Fortune 500 Company. After moving to Australia, Ben started his real estate career in 2002 as a salesperson in Brisbane’s western suburbs. He joined the Cartwright Property Group team when the agency opened in 2003. When the need for a more professional approach to run the property management department became apparent, Ben took over the reins. Developing systems and procedures which reduce our client’s exposure is one of Ben’s strong suits. He has a comprehensive knowledge of real estate trends and legislation, as well as a specific understanding of the local market. His extensive business skills and experience have brought new perspectives and ideas to the company, and he is the driving force in developing new services for our clients.
